Westerville Dental has a number of highly qualfied Expanded Function Dental Assistants on staff who support our dentists and hygienists in every phase of the treatment process, helping ensuring we are always providing the best possible level of care.

Expanded Function Dental Assistants

Several members of our team have earned their degrees in Expanded Function Dental Assisting and are Certified Dental Assistants.

Amy, EFDA/CDA Amy, EFDA/CDA

Amy graduated with an EFDA degree from The Ohio State University, College of Dentistry, and has her certification in CEREC technology. She joined Westerville Dental Associates in September 2004.

 

Nikki, EFDA/CDA Nikki, EFDA/CDA

Nikki graduated from Sinclair Community College with a degree in EFDA, and is licensed in coronal polishing. She joined Westerville Dental Associates in June 2006.

 

Sue, EFDA/CDA Susan, EFDA/CDA

Susan began her EFDA pursuit at the Fort Hayes Career Center, and furthered her education at Sinclair Community College in Dayton. She is trained in CEREC restorations, has her certificate for coronal polishing, and champions our I-CAT technology. She joined Westerville Dental Associates in May, 2008.

Amy B began pursuing her career in Dental Assisting at Eastland, and graduated with her EFDA license from OSU. She joined Westerville Dental Associates in January, 2011.

Judy is certified in CEREC technology and licensed for use of radiography. She joined Westerville Dental Associates in August 2004.

Katie joined Westerville Dental Associates as a Dental Assistant in August 2005.
